foundU is one of those rare product companies where the work you ship genuinely matters - not just to one customer type... but to dozens of wildly different businesses, all running on the same configurable workforce management platform.
(Yes... the same product supports a local café AND large industrial operators. It's a fun kind of complexity and variety)
They're now gearing up for a major uplift + integration program — and they're bringing on a Senior Front-End Developer as part of a dedicated contractor squad for a long fixed-term engagement (18+ months).
The mission
This squad will tackle two major workstreams:
Phase 1: Quality of Life (QoL) uplift - scalability, UX, maintainability, component upgrades, platform improvements
Phase 2: Internal user management integration - aligning auth + interoperability with a broader product suite
You'll start with QoL work, then shift into the integration phase once the wider ecosystem is ready.
What you'll actually be doing
This is a hands-on senior role where you'll:
- Uplift and evolve the component library
- Improve UI/UX flows across key product areas
- Collaborate closely with Product + UX (this isn't "design gets thrown over the fence")
- Optimise performance and raise front-end standards
- Help bring consistency and quality across the broader FE guild

Fixed term contract: 18 months
